[ultimate cynicism] the man has that elite gall

The public needs to display the same spirit as during the second world war and "rise to the challenge" of the crisis, the Prime Minister is to insist.

How dare he make reference to a time of honour and attempt to press it to his own purposes.

There is taking the p--s out of the country through policies which produce what we have today. It's another stage in cynicism altogether to have the nerve to say that it's jolly good stuff which will test out the character of the people he disdains.

I'd venture to suggest that if he were to walk down any High Street, he might not make it to the other end.

  1. Brown to my mind, while obviously not responsible for the GLOBAL crisis has certainly by his past actions as chancellor made the cold economic wind blowing through Britain colder.
So if it's posssible for a leader at such a time to keep his head down and his mouth shut, out of sheer embarrasment he should.
No chance really of that happening of course, I think in his own way he's as vain as Blair.

  3. And yet he's a notable improvement over the Loathsome Wee Twat. Which just goes to show how dreadful the LWT was. (According to this morning's Telegraph the LWT's wife, Ms Greedie Boot, thinks the LWT comparable to Churchill. Are any of these people sane?)

...because freedom of expression can harm children..

...and Mister Gordon Brown pretends that his housing bubble, which he encouraged so he could tax it to finance Labour's unreformed and expanded 'public services', and which is causing a recession that his policies may transform into a full-scale depression, is comparable to the threat of Axis Europe and implies that, as Prime Minister, he is comparable to Winston Churchill...

No wonder they want gun control as well as censorship....

  5. Don't get me started again, there was something on the telly earlier about his honor and values... Then there was a report on from the Arch Bishop of C!

I made the comment that this is one idiot too many! which shocked a few people and the telly was suddenly turned off...

  6. Well, I think we've maybe established how "honourable" he is. I wonder if he'd have the courage to walk down the High Street, unattended, spreading his goodwill mission.
